This Saturday: Free Civic Involvement Seminar
We have had a lot of questions and interest from people who would like to learn more about letting their opinion be heard by their local, state, and national representatives. Many times, websites that give information on issues, votes, phone numbers and email or snail mail addresses have proven inaccessible or challenging to interact with. In response to this, we are having a free seminar that will help blind and visually impaired citizens locate information that is important to them, prioritize it and take action by writing or calling their political representatives. We will review some good websites and apps that will help you navigate this important civic information and help you stay involved and have your voice heard. This is a free event and open to the public.
